Ina Trace

MRS. INA TRACE (JOHNSTON), beloved wife of the late Hugh Trace, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, September 28 at the age of 97 years.

Ina is survived by her son Wayne Johnston and granddaughter Jennifer; one daughter Madeline (Jerry) Smith Wutzke, 3 grandchildren Mona Wutzke, Darrell (Gail) Wutzke, Dean (Angie) Wutzke and 6 great-grandchildren; 3 step children Art (Monica) Trace and family, Fred (Shirley) Trace and family and Neil (Jessie) Trace and family. Ina was predeceased by her first husband ""Ole"" Johnston in 1957 and her second husband Hugh Trace in 1995, 4 sisters Leona (Tom) Martin, Edith (Joe) Martin, Florence (Slim) Eklof and Ella (Bill) Burr, brothers Clarence Current and son-in-law John Wutzke.

She was born in Medicine Hat and spent her early years in One Four and Manyberries. She married ""Ole"" Johnston in 1932 and together they farmed in Nemiscam. Ina married Hugh Trace in 1971 and they spent their winters in Arizona and summers in Pincher Creek.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge.
