Ida Michallik

MRS. IDA MICHALLIK of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Ewald Michallik, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at the age of 85 years.

She is survived by two children Herb Michallik of Lethbridge and Brigitte (Barry) Kadler of Cochrane as well as five grandchildren Nichol (Vance) Treuil, Christopher Kadler, Katherine Kadler, Kristin Watts and Darryl Watts. Ida was predeceased by her husband Ewald Michallik and her parents Julies and Emelie Dorok.

Ida was born on October 25, 1923 in Tomaschuwka, Poland, and then in 1945 she moved to Germany. On October 3, 1948 she married Ewald Michallik and emigrated to Taber, Canada with their two children in 1954. Ida loved growing flowers, gardening and reading her Bible.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, May 12, 2008 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge, with Pastor Jason Anderson, officiating. Interment to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery.
