MR. GERALD ""RAY"" HILL of Coaldale, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Eileen Hill, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the age of 90 years.

Ray was born in England and served in the World War II. He immigrated to Canada in 1957, then was joined by his wife, two sisters-in-law and his daughter. He spent many years as the Water Supervisor for the SMIRD in the rural Lethbridge area.

Ray is survived by his daughter Bernadette Taylor-Hill (Rob Munro) of Calgary, his sister-in-law Mabel (John) Gomany of Stirling, niece Stephanie (Vince) Pond, and many great nieces and nephews.

Besides his loving wife Eileen, Ray was predeceased by his sister-in-law Theresa Sibbald and niece Maria Krueger.
Ray had a great love of life, nature, and animals. He is survived by his dog Tess and will be sadly missed by all.

A Celebration of Ray's Life will be held from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, with a service at 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 12, 2012 in RAY AND EILEEN'S GARDEN, 2240 21st Avenue, Coaldale, AB, with Reverend Erin Phillips, officiating.
