Helen Murkin

Mrs. Helen Misako Murkin (Tamaki) of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Mr. Brian Murkin passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at the age of 76 years.

Helen was born in Coaldale, Alberta. She grew up in Vauxhall, AB, and graduated Nursing School in 1966. She enjoyed golfing, curling and her trips to Wendover and Jackpot.

Besides her loving husband, she is survived by her daughter Stacey Sherry (Gerard); stepdaughters Colleen and Stacey Murkin; stepson Ryan Murkin; grandchildren Joel Cross, Michael, Trevor and Stephan Murkin; brothers Koji, Jack, and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.

Helen was predeceased by her parents Michigoro and Tomiko Tamaki; brother Larry Sr., and nephew Larry Jr.

A private service for family only will be held on Monday, December 20, 2021.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the New Year.
