Helen Maxwell

HELEN ELIZABETH ""BETTY"" MAXWELL of Lethbridge passed away peacefully at the St. Michael's Health Centre on Monday, September 26, 2011 at the age of 94 years.

Betty was born in Lethbridge, on February 17, 1917, beloved daughter of the late Bert and Helen Maxwell and dear sister of the late Jean Gullion of Niagara-on-the-Lake Ontario.

Betty attended Lethbridge schools and was especially well known for her long service with Eaton's Lethbridge. Betty was a member of South Minster United Church.
Betty treasured her many friends and will be lovingly remembered by them.
Betty will always be remembered by her big blue eyes and radiant smile.

Betty is survived by her niece Betty Gullion of Elora, ON and Betty's son Kevin (Amanda) and their children of Niagara Falls, ON, her cousins John Keiver (Jean Lim) of Lethbridge, Jim Keiver (Lynne O'Brien) of Lethbridge, David Keiver (Susan Leask) of Campbell River, BC, Steve (Tami) Keiver of Lethbridge, Basil Everin of Denver, CO, along with their families.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00am on Friday, September 30, 2011 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge, with Reverend Deborah Lannon officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 317 - 10 Street South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 9Z9 or to a charity of one's choice.
