MRS. HATTIE LOUISE (WATT) DeBOW of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Harold DeBow, was born on October 28, 1915, and went to be with the Lord on June 25, 2010 at the age of 94 years.

She was predeceased by her husband Harold DeBow, parents Walter and Louisa Watt, sisters; Muriel Pierce-Martin, Elma Jackson, Helen Harris, Olive Melvin, brothers; Bill Watt and Jim Watt, and grandson Michael Fraser.

She is survived by her sister Margaret Gallup, children; Sharleen (Frank) Gunston, Deanna (Alan) Fraser, Raleigh (Judy Boon) DeBow, Kathryn (Martin) Matheson, grandchildren; Greg (Annette) Fraser, Valerie (Roland Hofstede) Fraser, John Gunston, Jennifer Gunston, Ian Matheson, Lisa (Jeff) Farber, David Matheson, Jessica (Mike) Sikora, Bryan Matheson, Matthew (Stephanie) Boon, David (Nicole) Boon, great grandchildren; Raleigh, Connor and Arie Fraser, Aidan and Liam Farber, Audrey Boon and many nieces and nephews.

Hattie was a woman of faith.

She was raised on the family farm in Nanton, Alberta, where she went to school and met and later married Harold in 1939. She was a wonderful homemaker as she and Harold raised their four children. Grandma was always up for a game of cribbage, scrabble or any other card game, which she usually won. She also loved puzzling and listening to her record collection.

A Memorial Service will be held at the family homestead in Nanton later this week.

We all love you. Thanks for all the laughs and memories. We will remember you always.

Mom will be laid to rest next to her loving husband at the Nanton Cemetery.

Service Date: June 29, 2010
