GWEN WILLIMONT of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Roy Pocza, passed away at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary with her family at her side on Monday, August 16, 2010 at the age of 65 years.
Gwen is survived by her husband Roy, daughter Tara (Clark), grandchildren Katie, Max & Allie (Coulson) of Moose Jaw, SK, son Billy Baum (Michaela) of Lethbridge, step-son Jason (Karla) Pocza of Calgary, step-son Ryan (Marla) Pocza of Red Deer and sister Bryanne Stacey of Sayward, BC (nephews Brent, Earl, Lenny, and niece Norma Jean). She was predeceased by her beloved son Shaun Baum, father Walter Willimont, mother Lucille Rutherford , and brother Dana Willimont.
Gwenny adored her family, friends, and grand dog Cooper. Her vibrant personality and uplifting sense of humour were contagious, second only to her generosity and welcoming hospitality. Gwen will be deeply missed by those who were honoured with the opportunity to be touched by her strong spirit and passion for her beliefs.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 20, 2010 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4th Street South, Lethbridge, with Reverend Daniel Zopoula, officiating.
