Gregory "Greg" Horgus

Gregory William Horgus of Coalhurst, AB passed away on August 31, 2024 at 73 years old. He was predeceased by his parents William and Caroline Horgus and in-laws Ralph and Audrey Karsten.

He is survived by his loving wife Marilyn of 45 years, his children Amy (Mark), Anna (Jeff), Kevin, and Laura (Steve), his grandchildren Emma, Addison, and Willow and pet dog Molly. Greg also leaves behind his two sisters Maryann (Stuart) and Kathy (Rod) and In-laws Allan (Erna) and Ivan (Wendy) and their families.

Greg loved people and had a way of making everyone feel like they were part of his family. He had many “adopted” children and grandchildren that kept a smile on his face. He had a quiet faith that endured throughout his life and a jovial sense of humor that inspired many groans from his family and giggles from friends.

A Celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, September 6, 2024, at MARTIN BROTHERS FUNERAL CHAPELS, with a Luncheon to follow. All who knew and loved Greg are invited to come.
