Mr. Robert John “Bob” Gray of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at St. Michael’s Health Centre on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at the age of 88 years.

Bob was born on December 19,1935 in Lethbridge AB to William and Bertha Gray. He grew up on the family farm east of Carmangay with his older siblings Peggy and Jim. He spent most of his life farming with brother Jim and family. Bob met a special friend, Jenny Skinner in 1980 and welcomed her family into his life. In 2003 when Bob's eyesight failed, and he could no longer drive, he moved into Lethbridge. He walked many miles around Lethbridge, enjoyed his audio books and tended to his yard. Bob lived in his own house until December 2023.

He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Denise (Wayne) Cronkhite, Dwight Gray, Darrell Gray, Pat (Earl) Koch, Richard (Melodie) Vasselin, Deb (Wayne) Mathieu and their families. He is also survived by Jenny's daughters, Bev Hynes (Brent Hamilton), Sharon (Cyril) Hubbard, Debbie (Dave) McGee and their families.

Bob was predeceased by his parents, William and Bertha Gray; sister Peggy Vasselin; brother Jim Gray; brother-in-law Lawrence Vasselin; sister-in-law Helen Gray and Dwight’s wife Sheila Going. He was also predeceased by his special friend, Jenny Skinner and her son-in-law Ross Hynes.

We are going to miss you (Uncle) Bob.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 19, 2024, at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4 STREET SOUTH, Lethbridge, Alberta.
