Mrs. Gloria Dawn Cudmore of Lethbridge, beloved partner of the late Mr. Earl Armstrong, passed away at St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre on Monday, January 9, 2023, at the age of 72 years.

Gloria was born on January 11, 1950, to Karl and Helen Boettcher, Gloria was raised with her 3 brothers and sister in Prince Albert, SK. In 1972 she had her daughter Charlotte where she raised her as a single mother. Gloria loved to dance! In 1992 she met her partner, Earl Armstrong, at a “Minus One” dance. She eventually moved to Melfort, SK, where they lived together until his passing in August 2017. In July of 2018 Gloria moved to Lethbridge, AB, to be with her daughter Charlotte and her family. Over the next 4 and a half years she travelled to places such as Cuba and Las Vegas, a couple mother/daughter trips to Calgary.

Besides visiting with the many friends she met while living in Lethbridge, Gloria loved to collect owls, read romance novels and watch animal shows on TV. She will be missed dearly by her family.

Gloria is survived by her daughter Charlotte (Troy) MacKay; granddaughters Taylon MacKay and Brayley MacKay; sister Lorraine Courtney and brother Chuck (MaryLynn) Boettcher; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Besides her loving partner Earl Armstrong, she is predeceased by her parents Karl and Helen Boettcher; brothers Larry (Ina) Boettcher, Doug (Myrna Westmacott) Boettcher and brother in law Ken Thompson.

Those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in honour of Gloria Cudmore.

A Celebration of Life and luncheon to be held at a later date in Melfort, SK. Date and place to be announced in the Spring of 2023.

Cremation has been entrusted to Martin Brothers Funeral Chapels.
