Glen Alexander

Passed away in Lethbridge on Wednesday, June 20, 2007, MR. GLEN HOWARD ALEXANDER at the age of 60.

Glen was born, raised and educated in Lethbridge. He got his Bachelor of Science at the University of Calgary and his Bachelor of Education at the University of Lethbridge. He began his 28 year teaching career with the Lethbridge School District 51 in September 1969. During those years he taught sciences and coached basketball at Winston Churchill and LCI. In 1982 he took over the family farm and during his teaching years and after retirement, devoted much energy to the farm and agricultural activities. He married Janet in June of 1970. They have 2 children: Jaime (Craig) Roberts and daughter Thea and David (Abbey) Alexander and daughter Summer. He is also survived by sisters Lois Faust and Carole (Ivar) Saugen as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and 2 sisters.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Palliative Care team at LRH and St. Michael's for all their care.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, June 25, 2007 at the FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, 1614 - 5 Ave South, Lethbridge, with Dr. Bruce Martin officiating.
