Gladys Vigh

MRS. GLADYS VIGH passed away peacefully at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital on May 21, 2008 at the age of 78 years.

Gladys was born in Lethbridge and with her parents and brother moved to Picture Butte. Her father was a shoe Maker by trade and she on occasions would help by polishing the shoes and cleaning the shop.

Gladys was an excellent student in school and later went to business school. But her main concern was to be a good wife and caring mother. She loved her crafts and her cooking was second to none.

Gladys was predeceased by her parents, husband Alex and brother Bill. She leaves to mourn her sons Alan (Carole), Richard (Mary); three grandchildren; sister-in-law Julie (Jack) Hamilton of Calgary; brother-in-law Bill (Norma) Vigh of Toronto and their daughter Debbie (Dave) Hrynkiw of Ontario; sister-in-law Kate and her daughter Debra and her three daughters all of Edmonton.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 7:00pm and 8:00pm on Monday, May 26, 2008 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL.
