Gladys Anderson

Gladys Georgina Anderson of Lethbridge, beloved partner of the late Robin Biddlecombe passed away surrounded by family at Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at the age of 90 years.

Gladys was born in Saskatchewan to the late Samuel and Sarah Anderon (Otto Hoffman).

She is survived by her four daughters Debbie Anderson, Arlene Flynn, Marilyn Aubin, Nina (Brent) Greene; five sons Leo Anderson, Joe Aubin, Ron (Karen Sexton) McNabb, Eric Aubin, Robin (Nicole) Biddlecombe; grandchildren Ricki Anderson, Jason Anderson, Georgina Aubin, Priscilla Aubin, Nicole Aubin, Dallas Solberg, Alexis Solberg, Tiffany Solberg, Cassandra Just, Corey Just, Timothy Solberg, Brandon McNabb, Tyler McNabb, Tannis McNabb, Olivia Biddlecombe, Monique Anderson, Dava Head, Joe Bitternose and Ryan Henwood.

She was predeceased by her two daughters Lorraine Bitternose and Darlene Hamilton; grandchildren Troy Bitternose, Rodger Bitternose as well as great-grandchild Kaylynn Bitternose.

She had a special love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; she loved her two nephews and their families, Tommy and Samuel Twist.

She had made many friends throughout her life resulting in many calling her mom. She welcomed everyone into her home and was very generous. She loved her daily soaps and many game shows. 

She had a fondness for knitting, donating much of her work. Any type of music was heard throughout her house. Her baking was enjoyed by everyone especially her homemade bread.

Gladys will be greatly missed by everyone who loved her. Her memory will have a lasting effect on each of us differently.

We will love and miss you, Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma, Great Great Grandma, and Auntie.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 11:00am and 1:00pm on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPELS, 610 – 4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta.

A Graveside Service will follow in the ROYAL VIEW CEMETERY, Lethbridge, Alberta.
