Gertrude Gretzinger

GERTRUDE GRETZINGER passed away peacefully on Friday, February 16, 2007 in Lethbridge, AB at the age of 74 years.

Gertrude was born in Ileschestie, Romania on May 6, 1932. Over the years Gertrude enjoyed doing lots of needle work, ceramics, bowling and playing rummy with her friends and family. She was also a wonderful business partner and interior designer in their construction business. After a lengthy battle with cancer, she exemplified her passing with grace, dignity and courage.

Besides her loving husband Henry of 51 years, Gertrude is survived by her loving family, son Ron (Deb) Gretzinger and their children Brad (Jill), Cory and Paige; son Frank (Carlene) Gretzinger and their children Michael and Christina; daughter Diana (Willie) Hebenik and their sons Clayton and Duncan; Mark Gretzinger and his children Kenton and Aurelia.
Gertrude was predeceased by her parents Aurelia and Joseph, brother Horst, and nephew Blaine.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 6:00PM and 9:00PM on Friday, February 23, 2007 at MARTIN BROS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 St. South, Lethbridge, AB.

A Funeral Service will be held at 4:00PM on Saturday, February 24, 2007 at the CHRIST TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 416 - 12 St. South, Lethbridge, AB, with Pastor Jason Anderson officiating.
