Gertrude Cox

Gertrude Cox of Lethbridge, AB, beloved wife of the late Douglas Cox, passed away suddenly on July 29, 2012 at the age of 80 years.

Gertrude was born in the area around Brandon, Manitoba the 2nd youngest girl in a family of 10 children, to Jacob and Gertrude Bullee. Douglas and Gertrude had an eventful and happy life together living in Ontario, Manitoba and Alberta.

Gertrude is survived by her 5 children, 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, son David (Cynthia) of Lethbridge, AB; daughter Donna Cox of Lethbridge, AB and her children Autumn Blanchard of Lethbridge, AB and Trina Blanchard (Kyle Magotioux) of Calgary, AB and their sons Noah & Benjamin; daughter Trish (Perry) Svensen of Airdrie, AB; son Danny (Isabel) Cox of Thompson, MB and their daughter Jennifer of Winnipeg, MB; daughter Barbara (Mike) Juhasz and their daughter Cassidy and grandson Joshua all of Calgary.

Besides her loving husband Douglas, Gertrude was predeceased by beloved grandson and Trish Svensen's son Douglas John Wasyliw.
Gertrude will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

A Funeral service will be held on Friday August 3, 2012 at 10:00AM in the MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4 Street South.
