MRS. GERALDINE (GERRY) GRANBERG of Foremost, beloved wife of Wally Granberg passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at the age of 69 years.

Gerry was born in Lethbridge on September 23, 1939 and was raised in Foremost by her parents Nick and Mildred Wolfe. Her hobbies and interests were curling, snow skiing, water skiing, camping, golfing and watching her grandchildren's various sports and activities. She also took great pride in knitting afghans for her grandchildren.

Besides her loving husband Wally, Gerry is survived by her daughter Darla (Don) Hardy, sons Terry (Debbie) Granberg and Rod (Roxanne) Granberg and grandchildren; Jordan (Megan), Tanner (Celia), Justin (Kara), Megan (Evan), Jarret (Tabitha), Madison and Geena. She also leaves her nieces Joelle (Doug) Sopp and Debbie Bell, and nephews Scott (Caralyn) Wolfe and Curtis (Sharon) Nelson as well as sisters-in-law; Sheila and Gwen Wolfe.
Gerry was predeceased by her parents Nick and Mildred Wolfe and her brother Duane Wolfe.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 7:00 and 8:00 pm on Sunday February 22, 2009 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4th Street South Lethbridge.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday February 24, 2009 at the Foremost Community Hall, Foremost, Alberta with Reverend Barrett Scheske officiating. Inurnment to follow in the Foremost Cemetery.
