Gerald Moran

GERALD ""JERRY"" MORAN passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 28, 2008 at the Chinook Regional Hospital at the age of 75 years.

Jerry was born on January 26, 1933 in Lethbridge, Alberta. He was well known in the sporting circles of Lethbridge, having donated many hours of volunteer work to hockey, baseball, fastball and all other sporting events that he attended. He was especially proud of the Lethbridge Hockey Hounds, of which he was honored to be a life time member.

Left to mourn his passing are his brother-in-law Dennis Kjeldgaard, sister-in-law Yvonne Starling, nieces Rhonda Sutter, Teri-Lyn Lyons, Theresa Shaver, nephews Glenn, Dean and Cameron Kjeldgaard and Stephen Sheridan and families. Jerry was predeceased by his parents Jim and Jenny Moran, brother Don, sister Melba (Kjeldgaard), as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He will be sadly missed by all of his many friends at the Lethbridge Lodge, Tim Horton's, Centre Optical, McGuires Men's Wear, and all his many stops on his daily route.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, January 2, 2009 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge. Interment to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery.
