Gerald Brook

MR. GERALD ""GERRY"" BROOK of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Sheila Brook, passed away peacefully at St. Michael's Palliative Care Centre of Saturday, February 18, 2012 at the age of 57 years.

He grew up in Strathclair, Manitoba and graduated from Red River Community College in Winnipeg. He went on to have an extensive and varied life that included independent business owner; Food Service management and Faculty Administrator for the University of Regina in Education, Science and Residence. His last career was as a realtor in Lethbridge for Royal LePage South Country.

Gerry was married to Sheila for 35 years and together they had a daughter Meagan and a son Peter.

Gerry was predeceased by his brother Richard and father James. He also leaves behind his mother Eva and brothers Tom (Linda) and Edwin (Evange) and their families.

A heartfelt thank you to St. Michael's Palliative staff for their loving care.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 6:30 to 8:30 pm on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4th Street South, Lethbridge.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at COLLEGE DRIVE COMMUNITY CHURCH, 2710 College Drive South, Lethbridge, with Pastor Brent Miller, officiating.
