Georgina Laycock

MRS. GEORGINA (INA) TAYLOR LAYCOCK, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2007, on her 90th birthday.

Ina is survived by her children Joan (John-deceased) Moore, Celia (Kenneth) Svoboda, Bruce (Susan) Laycock, Brenda (Gary Huculak) Laycock; grandchildren Heather (Rick) Donkers, Melissa (Darren) Smith, Michael (Jessica) Svoboda, Christel Laycock, Janelle Laycock, Stephanie (Ephraim) Radzik, Jennifer (Ian) Isackson, David Laycock, Katrina Laycock; great-grandchildren Jordyn, Tory and Taylor Smith, Mitchell and Sydney Donkers; sister-in-law Mary Dauncey and four step-grandchildren.

Ina was predeceased by her husbands David Hammond (1944) and Doug Laycock (1967), by her parents Robert and Janet Mitchell, sisters Jean Middlemiss and Nan Gloyn.

Ina loved the time she spent at Columbia Assisted Living and appreciated all the staff and many friends that she had there. She was a prayerful person, a woman of faith and a positive person taking the high road in all she did. She was a wonderful mother (raising four children on her own) and a loving grandmother.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00AM on Monday, December 10, 2007 at the RIVER OF LIFE COMMUNITY CHURCH, 2820-18 Ave N, Lethbridge, AB, with Pastor Bill Roycroft and Dr. Bill Calderwood, officiating. Interment will take place at Mountain View Cemetery in Calgary.
