Ms. Georgia Bartosek of Lethbridge passed away at St. Michael's Health Centre on Thursday October 7, 2021 at the age of 87 years.
Georgia was born on March 2, 1934. She was a caring daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed her daily walks, going to church, reading her many novels and taking care of the family pets while they were on holidays. After retiring from the Bank of Montreal, Georgia loved to bowl with her friends and travel with her friends and family. She had a great sense of humor and a zest for life. She will be forever cherished and remembered by her family.
Georgia is survived by her sister Lydia Tomasta, brother Tony (Bernie) Bartosek as well as many nieces and nephews, Bob (Kathy) Tomasta, Ron (Marylin) Tomasta, Diane (Tom) Slywka, Nancy (Doug Winters) Tomasta, Melenie de Graaf, Rick Tomasta, Gary (Lana) Tomasta, Lorraine Tomasta, Antonette Tomasta, Terry (Ron) Busch, Correne (Brian) Martin, Roxane (Cam) Nicholas, Curtis Bartosek and also many great nieces and great nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents John and Antonia Bartosek, brother in-law Miro Tomasta and niece Karen Tomasta.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Michael's Health Center for the care and compassion they gave to Georgia.
A private family service will be held.
