George Ridgeway

MR. GEORGE H. RIDGEWAY of Lethbridge passed away peacefully at Park Meadows Good Samaritans on Friday, May 28, 2010 at the age of 93 years.

George was born June 14, 1916 in Coalhurst. George served four years in the Armed Forces, serving in England, France, Belgium and Holland. He worked for about 25 years for Ellison Milling before retiring.

George was predeceased by his parents Leonard and Ethel Ridgeway, his sister Thelma and brother-in-law Dave Starie.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at St. Augustine's Anglican Church with Canon Allan McCuaig, officiating. A Legion Honor Guard will be held.

Interment at Mountain View Cemetery, Field of Honor, Lethbridge, Alberta.
