Geert Procee

God is our Refuge and Strength- Psalm 46:1a

GEERT PROCEE our wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather went home to his savior on August 9, 2010 at the age of 84 years after his second stroke.

Geert is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Klaaske and their children Sam (Wendy) Procee, Susie (Bruce) Konynenbelt, Andy (Donna) Procee, Annie Lee, Lena (Neil) Wastle, Flo McKean, Gary (Tara) Procee; 20 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Besides his loving parents, he was predeceased by a sister Marie Procee, brother John Procee, grandson Chris Ludwig, great grandson Nathan Konynenbelt.

Dad was born in Holwerd, Netherlands on July 27, 1926. Mom and Dad immigrated to Canada in 1950 with Dad's family. Dad mainly worked in the dairy industry and purchased his own dairy farm on 1967, where he has resided until his passing.

Friends and family may pay their respects on Thursday August 12, 2010 from 7:00PM- 8:00PM at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4th Street South, Lethbridge, AB.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00PM on Friday August 13, 2010 at MARANATHA CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 260 McGill Blvd. W, Lethbridge, AB, with Pastor Cameron Fraser officiating.

A private family graveside service will be held prior to the memorial service.
