Gary Walter

It is with saddened hearts that we announce Gary’s journey to eternity to be with our dear Lord on May 31, 2022.

Gary J. Walter of Lomond Colony, beloved son of Ed and Lydia Walter passed away peacefully with his family by his side after bravely fighting a 3 year battle with cancer. 

Besides his loving parents, he leaves to cherish 4 brothers Glen (Linda), Min. Edward (Elizabeth), Terry, Richard, (Melissa); 5 nieces and 1 nephew Judea, Karen, Saphra, William, Ruthanne and Isabelle; as well as numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. 

Gary was a people person. He enjoyed socializing and visiting with family and friends. Gary had a wonderful sense of humour and was always on the go.  He had a comment for everyone and left you feeling encouraged. He always had time to do the small jobs like mowing lawns and cleaning vehicles. 
Gary is predeceased by his grandparents Chris and Barbara Walter and Rev. David and Katie Hofer as well as numerous uncles and aunts.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am, on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Lomond Hutterian Brethren, Lomond, Alberta.
