Fritz "Fred" Hess

FRED HESS
1931 ~ 2015

Mr. Fritz “Fred” Hess of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Alida Hess, passed away surrounded by his loving family on January 5, 2015 at the age of 83 years at the Chinook Regional Hospital.
Leaving Germany in 1955, he started out in Canada alone, adventurous and hardworking. After marrying Alida, the two worked together raising a family, building up a farm with horses, and successfully running their bakery. He was known for his hearty laugh, and good sense of humor.
Fred leaves behind his wife of 56 years; his daughters Jacqueline (Gordon), Ingrid, and Monica (Anthony); grandchildren Heather, Jennifer, and Dustin Kuhl, Remko, Apollo, and Til Hess, Ryan and Kali Sayers, and a brother Roland, in Germany.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, January 9, 2015 at THE COAST HOTEL & CONFERENCE CENTRE, 526 Mayor Magrath Dr. S., Lethbridge, AB.
