MR. FRIEDRICH ""FRED"" KUNST of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Adeline Kunst, went to be with his Lord on Friday August 24, 2012 at the age of 83 years.

Fred leaves to mourn his beloved wife of 57 years, Adeline; his loving children Karl (Wendy), Rose (Tony) Gerlock, John (Marj), and David (Lisa); six grandchildren Nikki, Erik, Kimberley, Colten, Keyten, and Tyson. He is also survived by his brother John (Lisa); sisters Ida (Karl) Exner, and Lydia (Andrew) Holzli.

Fred was predeceased by his parents, Johann and Luisa (Littau) Kunst.
Fred was born in Josefstal, Ukraine on February 16, 1929. He moved to Germany in 1943 and in May 1952, he immigrated to Coaldale where he met and married his loving wife of 57 years, Adeline. In 1971, together with their family, they moved to Lethbridge.

Fred did beautiful finishing carpentry until his retirement because of declining health. He loved what he did and took great pride in his work. Many houses in Lethbridge and surrounding areas show evidence of his beautiful work.

A celebration of Fred's life will be held at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 20 Rocky Mountain Boulevard West, Lethbridge, AB on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at 1:00PM with Pastor Nathan Fuehrer, officiating. Interment to follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
