Frieda Toews

FRIEDA TOEWS (nee Isaak), born December 31, 1919 in Russia, passed away peacefully in the Coaldale Hospital in the presence of family members on Saturday, October 25, 2008. Frieda's passing fulfilled her heart's desire to be with her Heavenly Father.

Frieda is survived by three daughters and two sons, Bruno (Helen) of Lethbridge, Marian (Henry) Reimer of Coaldale, Richard (Debbie) of Abbotsford, B.C., Naomi (Dennis) Searl, of Chemainus, B.C., Beverley (Paul) Patterson, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Frieda is also survived by two sisters, Catherine (John) Froese of Abbotsford B.C., Agatha Dueck of Minnesota, and three brothers Frank (Sally) Isaak Abbotsford B.C., Jake (Irene) Isaak Niverville Manitoba, and Peter (Hildegard) Isaak Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Frieda's love for her Lord Jesus found expression joyfully serving and cheering those whom she met.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at Martin Bros. Riverview Chapel, 610- 4th St. South, Lethbridge. Internment will take place in Abbotsford, B.C.

Frieda's children and family express their heartfelt gratitude to the care givers of Tabor Manor (Abbotsford, B.C.) and more recently a special thank you to the staff of Sunny South Lodge (Coaldale) and the staff of the Coaldale Hospital.
