Francis Torscher

FRANCIS JOSEPH TORSCHER beloved husband of Mrs. Mirium Neufeld-Torscher passed away in Raymond on Tuesday August 14, 2012 at the age of 78 years.

Francis was born in Burdett, Alberta on May 19, 1934 to Joseph and Eva Torscher. Francis spent most of his working life in the automotive industry as a service manager and parts manager. He loved his step children and grandchildren. He was a people person and was always willing to help someone out.

Besides his loving wife of 33 years Mirium, Francis is survived by his step-children Tom (Gena); Darren (Debbie); Ramona (Tom) and Jerri (Owen); grandchildren Zachary, Mikayla, Keana, Noah and Sarah; sister Ann and family; brother Mike (Sally) and family as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Francis was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Eva Torscher and his sister Katherine.

Vigil Rites (Prayers) will be held on Monday August 20, 2012 at 7:00PM in the MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4 Street South, Lethbridge, AB.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday August 21, 2012 at 1:00PM in the ST. AMBROSE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1513 23 Avenue, Coaldale, AB, with Father Thomas Vadassery, celebrant.
