Frances Galts

MRS. FRANCES ""FLUFF"" HELEN GALTS of Milk River, beloved wife of the late Alwin Galts passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at the age of 86 years.

Frances and Alwin lived on the family farm in the Coutts area before retiring to Milk River. Throughout retirement she had many hobbies such as knitting, crocheting, cross stitching, gardening, and fishing. She was very proud of the most recent addition to her family that put the spark back into her life, her great-great granddaughter Azura.

Frances is survived by her daughters Beverly (Merv) Jochem and Jacqueline (Cody) Spooner, grandchildren Larry (Sharlene) Jochem, Marnie (Patrick) Clemens, Trudy (Wade) Zubach, Shane (Pam) Douglas, and Sheri (Carey) Edwards; great-grandchildren Brook (Cole) Pries, Anthony Jochem, Amanda (Ryan) Harnos, Garet Clemens, Kirstie (Eric) Braun, Justin Tweter, Nicholas Douglas, Christopher Douglas, Lynzee Edwards, and Logan Edwards; great-great granddaughter Azura Bosnick, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her loving husband Alwin of 57 years, Frances was predeceased by her brother Ronald (Ezme) Mantle.

She will be deeply and sadly missed by her family and friends.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 3, 2011 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 321 Main Street, Milk River, AB with Father Dominic Nguyen, celebrant.
