Frances Helen Dowling entered into eternal peace on Sunday, January 8, 2017, at the St. Michaels’ Health Centre. Fran was born on September 8, 1916, in Arcola, Saskatchewan, and was raised in Cupar and Wapella, Sask. Fran lived in various locations across Canada and in Germany, following her husband’s career in the Canadian Armed Forces. Fran was a gentle and kind person who gave her time and energy to support many Legion and Army Cadet events in Lethbridge.

Fran was predeceased by a brother Albert and sister Mildred Baillod. She leaves her memories to be cherished by her beloved husband Charles (Doc) Dowling, sister Shirley McWalter of Calgary, her loving daughter Dory (David) Rossiter, granddaughter Lisa (Conrad) Schalk and great-grandchildren Megan,Brayden, Kaitlyn and Kyle.

As per Fran’s wishes a private family service will be held at a later date.
