Frances Blue

FRANCES BLUE (nee Schreiner) passed away on Friday, July 18, 2008 at the Coaldale Health Care Centre at the age of 100 years and six months.

She is survived by her daughter Penny (Paul) Ewashen and grandchildren Michael (Karin) and Karen (Reg Foster) Ewashen; daughter-in-law Dora Blue and grandchildren Chris Blue, Lisa Blue (Rod Dueck) and Tess (Dave) Van Dyke; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers Roger (Lil) and Jake (Muda) Schreiner; sister Theresa Gruzinsky; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Frances was predeceased by her husband Howard in 1987; son Monte in 2003; grandson Reg Shakotko in 1966; brothers Philip and John and sisters Mary Torgrimson and Betty Dahm.

Many thanks to the staff at CRH, Coaldale Sunny South Lodge and Coaldale Health Care Centre for their care.

A private family graveside service was held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
