Felix Joseph Yvon Mathieu of Enchant, beloved husband of Sharon Mathieu, passed away suddenly at 4:30pm on Friday, February 19, 2016 at the age of 53 years.

Felix was born on April 3, 1962 in Kelvington, Saskatchewan. Felix has left behind his loving wife Sharon and their two daughters Sarah (Cody Miller) and Samantha. He is also survived by his parents Raymond and Therese Mathieu and siblings Colette (Tim) Hart, Brett, Stefanie and Taylor; Bruce (Wanda), Cilena (Kevin), Cody (Shelby), and Trent (Jensen); David (Sheri), Mason (Melissa), Gage, Michaela, and Matteo; Lucille (Mike) Penner, Brandon (Jade), Brandon (Brooke), Aspen, Faith and Amy. Felix is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and great nieces and nephews.

Felix enjoyed golfing, motorbiking, travelling, occasional visits to the casino, pranks and generally living life to the fullest. Felix was the manager of AgCom Petroleum (Petro Canada) and has ran the local fuel dealership for 32+ years. Felix was also the president of the Rec. Board, past president of the Lions Club, an active member of the Enchant Golf Club, a long time member of the Enchant Fire Department, founding member of the Prairie Wind Riders, a member of the Park Board, he supervised the Enchant Beet Dump and also served as a bus driver for Enchant School.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that a donation be made to Enchant Golf Club, at Box 1891, Enchant, Alberta, T0K 0V0.
