Evelyn Beattie

Evelyn Beattie (nee Scott) of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Keith Beattie, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2008 at the age of 83 years.

She was a talented pianist, teaching and performing throughout her life. She was active in the music program at Southminster United Church and Nord-Bridge Seniors Centre.

She is survived by her loving daughters Diane (Juergen) Renter of Lethbridge, and Janet (Don) Blackadar of North Vancouver and by five grandchildren David, Bradley (Lisa), and Jennifer Renter, and Alana and Kerry Blackadar. Evelyn was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was caring and young at heart, taking an active interest in the lives of her children and grandchildren throughout her life. We loved her dearly.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at SOUTHMINSTER UNITED CHURCH, 1011 4th Avenue South, Lethbridge, with Reverend Lois Punton officiating. The family wishes to thank her health care team for their care and support. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
