Eva Green

EVA GREEN passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, June 20, 2008 at the age of 89 years old.

Eva is the loving wife of Joe Green, mother of Annette (Joel) Bermack of Lethbridge and Mark (Ann) Green of Penticton and grandmother of Davita and Ariel Bermack and Naomi and Marshal Green.

Eva was born and raised in London, England and worked in the plastics industry. She met her husband of 62 years in Bournemouth, England. She arrived in Medicine Hat on the War Brides Train and married Joe, her wartime sweetheart. Eva worked in the family shoe business in Medicine Hat and later moved with Joe to Lethbridge to co-own Green's Shoe Store. Eva loved to travel and visit many countries, but was always drawn back to Hawaii.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am on Monday, June 23, 2008 at BETH ISRAEL SYNAGOGUE, 915 - 15 Street South, Lethbridge. Interment to follow at the Mountain View Cemetery, Jewish Section.
