Ethelena Thompson

It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Ethelena Thompson. She was born on March 5, 1923 and died December 18, 2008.

She will be greatly missed by her sons Robert (Linda) Thompson, Harold (Sharon) Thompson; daughters Shirley (Edmund) Kolesar, Vicki (Dennis) Demers; her 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; her sister Elsie Grisak; brothers Howard (Mid) Bellew, Bob (Helen) Swanson; brother-in-law Bob Darling and sister-in-law Edna Thompson.

Ethelena was predeceased by her loving husband Victor; parents Estel Bellew and Elizabeth Swanson; step father Oscar Swanson; sister Frances Swanson and granddaughter Lynn Wensveen.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am, on Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at ST. PETER'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Main St., Milk River, AB, with Pastor Brian Amison officiating. Interment to follow in the Milk River Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Milk River Fire Department, General Delivery, Milk River, AB T0K 1M0.
