Ernestina Potts

MRS. ERNESTINA ""TEEDEE"" MARGUERITE POTTS (nee FANTIN) of Lethbridge, was born on March 5, 1931 in Bellevue, AB. The struggle ""TeeDee"" fought with cancer is over - the pain she suffered in brave silence is gone. She is finally at peace, having passed away with loved ones by her side, on Friday, June 22, 2007.

She was predeceased by her husband, Eddie Potts, on November 11, 1992. Survivors include her two daughters Lindy Oliver of Lethbridge, Lorraine (Kris) Nygrin of Calgary; son Barclay (Deanna) Potts of Nicolson, BC; five grandchildren Krystal, Ashley, Jackie, Eddie and Adam; three sisters Anna Sherret of Edmonton, Doreen Hruby of West Bank, BC, Gerri (Merv) Shankland of Lethbridge, as well as her special niece, Lola (Ted) Major, and numerous other relatives.

On behalf of TeeDee, the family extends its heartfelt thank you to relatives, friends and caregivers for the support, compassion and love shown during these past months.

In keeping with TeeDee's wishes and dignity, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at MARTIN BROS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember TeeDee are invited to contribute to the Canadian Cancer Society, 317 - 10 St. South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 2M7.
