Ernest Langemann

ERNEST ABRAM (ERNIE) LANGEMANN of Coaldale, beloved husband of Lynnette Langemann, passed away suddenly on June 23, 2011 at the age of 64 years at Police Lake in Cardston.

Ernie was a caring and very much loved Father, Grandfather, Husband, Brother, Loyal Friend and Craftsman. Born in Coaldale, Alberta March 27, 1947, Ernie spent his life in Coaldale working on the family farm while attending school. Eventually taking up the mechanic trade and obtaining his journeyman ticket Ernie spent the remainder of his life dedicated to his trade until his retirement in 2007.

Integrity, loyalty and respectfulness are only a few words that describe Ernie. He was a man who possessed an amazing work ethic endured with firmness and fairness complimented by the willingness and strong dedication to perfection while doing the job right the first time. This held true with Ernie's hobbies as well; an avid fisherman, gardener and chef Ernie ensured he did the very best he could while on the lake, in the garden or kitchen.

Ernie will be forever remembered for his love for his family, ability to fill a room with smiles and remarkable telling of his life stories.
Besides his loving wife, Lynnette, Ernie is survived by his sons Jason (wife Holly, Granddaughter Jaelyn) and Jeremy (wife Shayna, Granddaughter Ava), brother Hans (wife Colleen) and Sister Elvera Schmidt (husband Henry predeceased); as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. Ernie was predeceased by his parents Peter Abram and Elizabeth Langemann, Lynnette's parents Milton and Mary Iverson.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday June 28, 2011 at the COALDALE UNITED CHURCH, 2022 18 Street, Coaldale, with Reverend Bob Wallace, officiating.
