Mrs. Erma Erickson of Edmonton Alberta, (formally of Milk River and Lethbridge), beloved wife of the late Mr. William Erickson, passed away on Friday October 26, 2018 at the age of 92 years.

Erma immigrated to Canada from Hungary with her mother Mary Juhasz and her older sister Margaret, they came to the 1-17 district west of Milk River where her dad earlier bought a farm. Erma had her schooling at Bank View School, then went to Milk River to work at Roberts Hotel, later moved to Lethbridge to work at the Shangre-la restaurant for several years. She then moved back to Milk River and married William Erickson where they raised their family. Erma worked part time at Border Counties Hospital for several years. After the passing of her husband, Erma moved back to Lethbridge with her daughters, going to work for several years at Municipal Hospital in the CSR department, then retiring to Fairmont Gate to enjoy her back yard rose garden. She sewed many cross stitch beautiful pictures to give to her family.

Erma leaves behind five daughters to mourn her passing, Lorna Stuart, Monica Brisebois, Marcella Kosinski, Corinne Erickson and Bonnie Read; ten grandchildren Conrad Brisebois, Eric Brisebois, Leslie Brisebois, Mandy Brisebois, Kristy Erickson, Tracy Lofstrand, Savannah Stuart, Stephanie Stuart, Cynthia Read and Cory Read; three great-grandchildren Marie Bobianotz, Johanas Brisebois and Mikaila Brisebois

Erma will miss her rose garden and squirrels.
