Engena "Ena" Oudshoorn

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Engena “Ena” Oudshoorn- Middelkoop.

Ena was born on October 21, 1938, in Moordrecht, The Netherlands, and passed away at Bethesda Care Home in Picture Butte on August 27, 2024, at the age of 85 years.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Harry Oudshoorn; their seven children Martin (Wilma), Nel (Art) Lindhout, Harry (Christina), Diane (Ken) Slingerland, Els (Dick) Veurink, Carla (Nathan) Neels and John (Tamara); 9 siblings; 50 grandchildren and 87 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her granddaughter Jolene Oudshoorn (2020) and great grandson Landon Korporaal (2009). Ena was also predeceased by her parents Jan and Neeltje Middelkoop and 2 siblings.

An opportunity to offer Condolences will be held from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm, on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Netherlands Reformed Congregation of Picture Butte. 601 3A St, Picture Butte, Alberta.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am, on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Netherlands Reformed Congregation of Picture Butte. 601 3A St, Picture Butte, with Reverend P. Kleijer, officiating. Interment will follow at Picture Butte Memorial Cemetery.
