Emma Ruth Smith 1920 ~ 2013

Mrs. Emma Ruth Smith of Nobleford, beloved wife of the late Leslie Frank Smith, passed away in Lethbridge on Friday, September 27, 2013 at the age of 93 years.

Emma is survived by her children, Jim (Carol), Allan (Glenda), Vernon (Roberta), Kathryn (Ralph), 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Emma is also survived by her brothers Fred (Rena), Jack (Mabel), Donald (Carol), her brother in-law and sister in-law Andrew and Ada, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews and their families. Emma was predeceased by her husband Leslie Frank, parents Gust and Louise Zech, her sisters Martha, Louise, Elsie and Mildred and her brothers Walter and Ted. The family would like to thank family, friends and wonderful neighbors as well as all the staff at Legacy Lodge for their help during this difficult time. A memorial service will be celebrated at 1:00pm on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 20 Rocky Mountain Blvd. West Lethbridge with Pastor Nathan Fuehrer, celebrant. Interment will follow in the Mountain View cemetery, Field of Honor, following the service. Flowers are gratefully declined. Those who wish, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
