Today we lost a wonderful lady.

We are sad to announce the sudden passing of MRS. ELSIE MILK on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at the Chinook Regional Hospital.

Elsie lived a long and full life starting in Ochre River Manitoba on March 1, 1936. At 18, the Manitoba farm girl left to join the Royal Canadian Air Force so she could see the world. She met the love of her life, Bob Milk, when she was stationed at Greenwood Airforce Base in Nova Scotia. They married in 1956 and proceeded to travel the world together. They went to Goose Bay Labrador, Lahr Germany, Winnipeg, Calgary, Brooks, and finally choosing to settle in Lethbridge in 1985.

Left behind with broken hearts but many happy memories are her husband of 56 years, Bob, four children Rob Milk, Steve Milk (Sue Herron), Leanne Martin (Dennis) and Sherri Antal (Louis), and honourary daughters Judy Harbarenko and Fay Hindley. Also mourning are her grandchildren Amanda (Brett and Alexandra), Tanis (Scott, Larson, and Walker), Rob (Nicole and Isabella), Brad (Edith, Jax and Oz), Steve (Brenda, Emma, Kamal, and Eric), Melissa (Jeff), Andrew, Russell and Stefanie.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge, with Major Sandra Habkirk officiating.
