Ellen Oseen

MRS. ELLEN OSEEN of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Alfred Oseen, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, January 29, 2010 at the age of 95 years.

In Ellen's words, ""I've had a great life, a generous, hard working husband, and a good caring family.""

Ellen is survived by sons Harold of Guadalajara, Dean of Lethbridge, Larry (Pat) of Lethbridge, Charles (Doreen) of Calgary; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; 3 brothers Ken (Peggy), Leonard, Vernon (Yvonne); 2 sisters Joye, Ruthie; 2 brothers-in-law Arvid, Chester (Hilda); 3 sisters-in-law Lena, Babe and Gertrude.

Ellen was born in Sundial, Alberta, the first daughter of Benjamin George and Cynthia Jane Dunn (Custard), on March 18, 1914.

Besides her loving husband Alfred in 1994, Ellen was predeceased by her son Dennis in 1997; grandson Shaun in 1995; 6 brothers Jake, Lloyd, Dale, Clio, Tom, and Alvin; 2 sisters Hazel and Gladys; 5 brothers-in-law and 3 sisters-in-law.

Is it Ellen's request that a private family graveside service be held at a later date.
