Elizabeth Stengl

MRS. ELIZABETH STENGL, beloved wife of the late Mr. John Stengl, of Lethbridge passed away at the Good Samaritans, West Highlands Centre, on Friday, May 6, 2011 at the age of 86 years.

Elizabeth is survived by: Dr. John F. (Tamara) Stengl of Lethbridge, Anna (Brian) Thompson of Parksville, Vancouver Island, four grandchildren; Jennifer (Darryl) Klassen of Kelowna, BC, John (Natalie) Gordon of Calgary, AB, Julie (Leason) Blenkin of Kelowna, BC, and Krissy (Jay) Schenkey of Nanaimo, Vancouver Island, along with eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by family in Hungary.

Elizabeth was born on August 3, 1924 in Hungary. She immigrated to Canada in 1954, and was a resident of Lethbridge, Alberta for her entire life. She was a respected employee of Lethbridge Municipal Hospital for many years. She was a meticulous housekeeper, loved her flower garden, and crocheted intricate pieces, but her biggest joys were her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered with great love by her family.
