Elizabeth Pocza

Mrs. Elizabeth Pocza of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Chester Pocza, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the age of 90 years.

Elizabeth was born in Hungary on September 18, 1926 to parents John and Anna Szabo. She immigrated to Southern Alberta in 1937, where she met her husband Chester and they were married in 1943. Elizabeth is survived by her daughter Barb Ayerhart; 2 sons Roy Pocza and Grant Pocza; grandchildren Tracey Wiebe, Carlin (Susan) Ayerhart, Jason (Kelly) Pocza, Ryan (Marla) Pocza, Whitney Pocza, Bill (Michaela) Baum and Tara Coulson; 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Besides her loving husband Chester, Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents John & Anna and her brother Andrew.

A Family Graveside Service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the MOUNTAIN VIEW CEMETERY with Deacon Frank Peta, officiating.
