Elizabeth Kurinka

ELIZABETH ANN KURINKA, beloved wife of the late Ignace Kurinka, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the age of 93 years.

Elizabeth was born in Whitewood, Saskatchewan on February 4, 1919. She grew up and was raised on the family farm at Esterhazy, Saskatchewan. She married Ignace Kurinka and came to Alberta in 1942. She has been a resident of several places in Alberta, living in Nordegg, Canmore, East Coulee, Three Hills, Shaughnessy, and Lethbridge.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband Ignace of Lethbridge, her parents Mary Ann and John Babyak, sister Rose and brother John of Esterhazy, Saskatchewan.

She is survived by her sons Eugene, Joe and Lawrence (Betty) of Lethbridge, son Ernest (Myrna) of Stirling, and daughter Mary (Hank) Evanisky of Burnaby, BC, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, along with her sisters Julia and Mary.

A private family Graveside Service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery.
