Elizabeth Chancey

ELIZABETH ""BETTY"" EILEEN CHANCEY beloved wife of the late Mr. Ralph Chancey passed away peacefully on Monday, December 17, 2007 at St. Michael's Health Centre.

Betty Parkhill was born on March 31, 1923 in Perth Ontario. She was the youngest of three children. Betty grew up in the Perth Landrk area of Ontario; she graduated as an RN and moved out west to Medicine Hat to pursue her nursing career. She later met the late Ralph Chancey and they were married in 1954. Ralph and Betty had one daughter Elizabeth Anne. Betty was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a very dear sweet person. She had the most beautiful smile and laugh and we will miss her very much.

Betty is predeceased by two brothers Donald Parkhill (Pauline) of Ontario and Jack Parkhill of Creston. Betty leaves to mourn her daughter Elizabeth Anne Jackson of Lethbridge, granddaughter Victoria Elizabeth Jackson of Lethbridge and relatives Jane and Norm Caron of Kinkardine, ON, Ruth and Bob McFarlane of Timins, ON, Jim and Linda Parkhill of Niagara Falls, Edith Wilson of Lethbridge, Bob and Gloria Wilson of Regina, Elizabeth Wilson of Coaldale and Stan and Lisa Wilson of Calgary, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A private family service will be held to honour Betty. No flowers please.
