Elizabeth Blair

1925-2008

Elizabeth (Dale) Blair, beloved wife of the late Robert (Bob) Blair, passed away in Lethbridge, Alberta on January 23rd, 2008.
She was born Elizabeth Dale Coughlan in Vancouver, British Columbia in 1925. She married Robert W. Blair in 1945, and the couple moved from Vancouver to Lethbridge Alberta in 1955.

Dale leaves many friends and family members to remember her and who will always miss her. Dale was pre-deceased by her husband Bob and her treasured daughter Georgia Dale Blair (Higgins). She leaves three children, Elizabeth Blair-Matisz (Alan Matisz), Bob Blair (Leanne Chahley) and Richard Blair (Theresa Roberson) and their children Arlo, April and Chelsea Matisz; Brendan, Rebecca, Joshua and Daniel Blair; and Amanda and Hakeem Blair-Roberson. She also leaves Georgia's children Bob, Carole, and Brian Higgins and Melanie Stephens. Dale was blessed with six great-grandchildren - Colton, Austin, Julian, and Noah Higgins and Connor and Landon Stephens.

Like her late husband Bob, Dale loved her years at the ranch. She loved birds and music, her home, her garden and her many wonderful friends. She was a loving mother and grandmother. A gifted quilter, Dale created beautiful work. She was a kind, generous and gentle woman.
We were all blessed to have her in our lives.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1PM., on Monday, January 28, 2008 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4th St. S., with Pastor Bill Roycroft, officiating.
