Elisabeth Keebler

It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear Mom and Grandmother, on Tuesday, January 13, 2009. Left to cherish her memory are her children Peter Keebler and his daughters Karie (Matthew) and Amber; Ingrid Miller (Jim) and their daughters Kimberly and Kristene. Elisabeth is also survived by her sister-in-law Anneliese Markert (Willi) and nieces and nephews in Germany. Elisabeth was predeceased by her first husband Hans Hilgendorf in 1951 and by her second husband Karl Keebler in 1983, as well as three sons, Joachim, Wolfgang and Rolfe.

Elisabeth will be remembered for her caring nature and kind heart towards family, friends and neighbors. If someone was hungry, she fed them, if someone was in need she helped out. Her greatest love was her family and the extended family that came later. She will be kept in our hearts with much love.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM, on Monday, January 19, 2009 at MARTIN BROS. FUNERAL CHAPELS, 610 - 4 St., S., Lethbridge, AB., with Pastor Kevin Powell officiating. Interment to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery.
