Elda Mueller

MRS. ELDA MUELLER of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Ken Mueller, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2008.

Elda was born in Warner, AB on September 25, 1922 to Gladys and Leo Nelson. She grew up in the Wrentham area and married the love of her life Ken Mueller on September 25, 1940. She loved the farm and all the fun and work that went with farm life.

Elda served on many community boards, was a county of Warner Councilor for many years and was always ready to help with any community projects. Ken and Elda had a great month long safari to Africa in the fall of 1965. She enjoyed curling, crocheting and was a great cook.

She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, always anxious to hear what they were doing. Family and friends meant a great deal to Elda, she very seldom missed any ones birthdays or anniversaries and don't think there was anyone who sent more cards to people.

Besides her loving husband Kenneth, Elda is survived by her daughter Molly (Dale) Hollihan; grandchildren Joan Hollihan and David (Sandra) Hollihan; great-grandchildren Jordan Mae and Jeremy McKenzie; brother Roy (Carol) Nelson; brothers-in-law George (Selma) Mueller and Lloyd (Dorothy) Mueller; sisters-in-law Violet Mueller, Joyce Andreachuk, Irene (David) Walker, Ruth (Laurie) Belsher and Grace Nelson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her son Dickie Mueller; brothers-in-law Oscar Mueller, Ray (Vivian) Mueller, Rome (Leona) Mueller, Andrew Andreachuk and Fred Nelson.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge, with Pastor Brian Magee officiating.
