Edward Peszat

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of ED on July 14th, 2010. He left our lives much too soon but he will live on forever in our hearts and minds. We will remember him as a man with a heart of gold.
Ed struggled with many health problems and dealt with them all using an unbelievable peace, grace, integrity, and courage that we can only hope to achieve. These same qualities he carried with him through his many achievements with the R.C.M.P. where he had postings in Vancouver, Montreal, and finally Lethbridge where he also completed a Bachelor of Management at the University of Lethbridge.

Ed was predeceased by his father, Stan Peszat and survived by his mother, Marian Peszat, his wife Sheila, his daughters Ashley and Tera (Charlie), sisters Pat (Robert) Sirbaugh, Maureen Peszat, brother Bud (Carole) Peszat, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Many things in life brought Ed great joy such as spending time in Waterton surrounded by family and friends. He also enjoyed a job well done and as his daughters would attest to ""he can do anything!"" He was able to fix almost anything around the house, he was an avid sports fan coaching daughter's hockey teams and participating in many other sports.

Vigil Rites (Prayers) will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, July 19, 2010 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4th Street South, Lethbridge.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2405 12th Avenue South, Lethbridge, with Father Raul Hernandez, celebrant.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
