MR. EDWARD MITURA of Raymond passed away at the Raymond General Hospital on January 15, 2007, at the age of 92 years. Edward was born in Gizyce, Poland on October 27, 1914. During the Second World War in 1939 he was in the Polish Army and has been taken to Germany to a forced labor camp. There he met and was married to Maria Bak and together they immigrated to Venezuela in 1948. Mr. Mitura found his home in Canada where he comes in 1952. He will be sadly missed by his nephew Zbigniew ""Victor"", nephew's wife Grazyna, and his grandchildren Natalia and Adam. Edward spent many enjoyable hours gardening and fishing.

He was predeceased by his parents, wife Maria and two brothers.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00AM on Friday, January 19, 2007 at ST. PATRICK'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 318 - 10 St. South, Lethbridge, AB, with Father Tim Boyle officiating. Interment to follow in the Raymond Cemetery.
